  • Wojtek Wodzicki

    Wojtek Wodzicki

    President & CEO

    Dr. Wodzicki has a doctorate in Geosciences from the University of Arizona and over 30 years of experience in international mineral exploration and corporate management. He has led successful exploration teams throughout the world, and has managed large scale projects from the generative stage through to engineering studies. Teams led by Dr. Wodzicki are responsible for several significant discoveries including Los Helados, Josemaria, Filo del Sol, El Limon-Guajes, and most recently NGEx Minerals’ Lunahuasi deposit. Dr. Wodzicki has worked for the Lundin Group since 2007 and was previously CEO of Josemaria Resources, Filo Corp. and Sanu Resources, and has served as a director of several public companies. He was responsible for the spinout of NGEx Minerals in the summer of 2019, and of Filo Corp. in the summer of 2016, both from Josemaria Resources Inc. (formerly NGEx Resources Inc.). Dr. Wodzicki is currently a director of Filo Corp.

    Chief Financial Officer

    Mr. Yip received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (CPA, CA). After three years at Ernst & Young LLP (Vancouver), Mr. Yip served as the Corporate Controller of Rusoro Mining Ltd., a junior gold producer with operations in Venezuela, and for RB Energy Inc., a TSX-listed iodine producer with assets in Chile and Canada, before serving as CFO of Orca Gold Inc., an African-focused junior exploration company, until 2018 and Filo Corp. until 2022.

    Bob Carmichael

    Vice President Exploration

    Mr. Carmichael joined NGEx Minerals’ predecessor company, Josemaria Resources Inc. (formerly NGEx Resources Inc.), from the UK office of Lundin Mining Corporation, where he was General Manager, Resource Exploration with oversight of all near-mine and resource definition exploration activities. Prior to joining Lundin Mining, Mr. Carmichael acted as Vice President, Exploration for EuroZinc Mining Corporation and held executive positions and directorships for several other Canadian exploration companies operating internationally. He has also been a director and first Vice President of the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia (AME BC) and sat on the technical committee for Geoscience BC.

    Mr. Carmichael is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of British Columbia, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of British Columbia and has 23 years of experience in public company management and international mineral exploration. Mr. Carmichael also serves as VP Exploration for Filo Corp.

    Finlay Heppenstall

    Vice President, Corporate Development & Investor Relations

    Mr. Heppenstall joined NGEx Minerals as Vice President, Corporate Development & Investor Relations in October 2024. Prior to joining NGEx, he held the position of Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Development at Lundin Gold Inc. Mr. Heppenstall has over 10 years of experience in capital markets and the natural resource industry. He began his career working across various roles within the mining sector in Chile and Australia, later transitioning into finance where he specialized in equity research and institutional equity sales at an international securities firm. Mr. Heppenstall holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Newcastle University and a Master of Science degree in Metals and Energy Finance from Imperial College London.

  • Martin Rode

    Martin Rode

    South America General Manager

    Mr. Rode serves as the General Manager, South America for NGEx Minerals. Mr. Rode is a Geologist focused on South American Andean projects, and has been working in the Vicuña District for over twenty years. He was an integral part of the Josemaria, Los Helados and Filo del Sol discoveries, as well as the most recent Lunahuasi discovery made by NGEx Minerals. Mr. Rode has previously held different positions within the Lundin Group’s operations in South America, particularly in Chile and Argentina, including Regional Manager, Exploration Manager, Operation Manager and Executive Director.

    Judy A. McCall

    Corporate Secretary

    Ms. McCall is an accomplished Corporate and Securities Paralegal with over 15 years of multi-jurisdictional experience in both the private and public natural resource sectors. As Corporate Secretary, she plays a pivotal role in supporting her board of directors and executive management teams. Her responsibilities encompass legal and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, oversight of board and committee affairs, management of continuous disclosure obligations and the facilitation of corporate and securities transactions Ms. McCall is also experienced in initial public offerings, navigation of cross-border trading complexities, and records management. Since 2015, Ms. McCall has been an active member of the Governance Professionals of Canada and is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. She concurrently holds the position of Corporate Secretary at Filo Corp.
